Wedding Portrait - Katie & Jake - Portrait - Eugene Oregon
Katie and Jake have been great friends of ours, and yet when they first told me they were interested in wedding photos, I was prepared to refer them to some great wedding photographers in town. (I haven’t done weddings in forever and am definitely not a traditional wedding photographer at this point!) Then Katie told me they wanted to have wedding photos that are different from typical wedding photos. They wanted very stylistic wedding portraits, and they gave us a whopping 3 hours and creative direction for the shoot on their wedding day. For this, I got really excited because I knew that portrait is something I love to do, and to be able to share that with our friends for their wedding was something really special!
This wedding was the most relaxing (I thought our wedding was super relaxing), non-traditional (and I thought our wedding was insanely non-traditional), and beautiful wedding (yup, Lisa was crying!).
It was such a joy to be able to photograph our amazing friends on their special day as a portrait photographer. Thank you so much for trusting us, and congratulations again to both of you!
