Engagement Session for Kendall and David at the Oregon Coast
This “secret” engagement shoot was such a blast! We got a message about family/couple photography from Kendall, and I got a “secret” message from David about his intention to propose on the day of the shoot! Of course, we were super excited to capture our best friends’ proposal and immediately started to plan for this day. We all arrived right before sunset and we started our shoot.
They were such good sports the whole time, and their dogs made it an even more energetic shoot! After having so much fun and taking great “candid” shots (we put quotation marks on candid because every “candid” moments is pretty much planned), we gave them some distance to have some special moments and waited for our cue. When David kneeled down, and we knew it was time! We couldn’t hear anything but we could tell that they were both so happy and emotional, and Lisa (our lead photographer for a day) was crying behind the lens.
As photographers, we feel that we are so lucky to be able to be involved in people’s biggest life events. Thanks for having us be there with you guys, and we are so happy for you both. :)
